Job Description

Are you excited about cooking, camping, or life on the road? Do you find the vanlife and overland lifestyle interesting? Do you have experience in building a network of influencers and bloggers, developing content, generating leads, and developing creative marketing strategies? Are you good at working independently and as part of a team? If so, this may be the perfect position for you.

We are a startup located in Berkeley, California, manufacturing a system that allows you to take your kitchen on the road. We aim to create a lifestyle brand focused on promoting this product and the lifestyle it allows people to create around camping, road trips, and festivals.

Together, we will develop a marketing strategy, promote the Nomad Kitchen Co brand, create awareness around our product line, and develop and execute an IndieGoGo campaign. This is a temporary contract position with flexible hours, the ability to work remotely, and the possibility to work on a broad spectrum of projects. Upon completion of a successful IndieGoGo campaign, there is an opportunity for full-time employment, a substantial raise, and even the possibility of profit sharing.

You will have the full support of Nomad Kitchen Company's Founder and in house support staff including a leading marketing research expert, graphic designer, legal support, and event coordinator.

We are would like to create a work environment that encourages flex-time, working remotely, spending time in nature, and developing community.

We believe that corporations’ bad behavior disproportionately hurts the most marginalized people in society — including people of color, people from working-class backgrounds, women, and LGBTQ people. We believe that these communities must be more represented in the outdoors industry. Hence, we strongly encourage applications from people with these identities or who are members of other marginalized communities.
