- The exterior shell of the Nomad Kitchen CV has been tested to support 400 lbs on top.
- We do not recommend exceeding the tested weights.
Make sure your tie-down anchor points can support the weight of the kitchen along with anything you may place on its drawers when they are extended.
Note for Subaru Crosstrek and Jeep Renegade: You can get away with just using the short rear strap to mount the CV Kitchen, just be sure to push the kitchen back against the rear seats before tightening the strap.
If your vehicle has plastic anchor points, replace them with steel aftermarket D-rings. Just unscrew the stock ones and replace them with a stronger plate D-ring. You can get away with the two-hole anchors in our store as long as you orient them so the unused hole is below the D-ring.
