SHOP ASSOCIATE - PART TIME

We prioritize high-quality construction, American manufacturing, easy installation, and universal fit with our fully assembled systems.
We are hiring a Shop Associate in Seattle. The ideal candidate can accomplish a wide variety of roles in operations, fulfillment, marketing, and customer service experience. The right Shop Associate has a great attention to detail, works well independently, and can think critically.
We promote flexible schedules, spending time in nature, and developing community. Most of our customers place orders online, yet we pride ourselves in our proven ability to offer a personal experience both in person and remotely.
Key Functions:
Customer Service and Sales ~ 50%

Ensure all customer questions are answered in a timely and comprehensive manner

Schedule customers for in-person pickups, vehicle outfitting appointments, as well as virtual and phone consultations

Assist in mounting systems during in-person pickups and vehicle outfitting appointments

Create and manage invoices

Promote sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers at showroom and events

Provide a personable experience for customers offering guidance on kitchens, drawers, and accessories

Manage social media and newsletter campaigns
Operations ~ 50%

Pick, pack, and ship orders
-
Receive and restock inventory
-
Manage and track inventory
-
Clean and maintain the showroom and warehouse

Assist in final assembly of kitchens and drawers
Skills & Experience:
-
2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience
-
2+ years of fulfillment and operations experience
-
2+ years of newsletters writing experience
-
2+ years of social media account management experience
-
2+ years of event operations
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and keep to a schedule

Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and be proactive with one’s time

Proficient in e-commerce platforms, Gmail, Google Drive, and shipping software

High degree of critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. performing all functions as set forth

Must be comfortable with a drill and basic hand tools

Should have a general knowledge base around SUVs, Trucks, Vans and other adventure vehicles
Benefits:

Job Type: Part-time – approximately 8-24 hours per week (Spring and Summer peak offers more hours than Fall and Winter)

$21.50 – $24/hour depending on experience

All team members are provided a full Nomad Kitchen Bundle for their vehicle for use while working with Nomad Kitchen Co (valued at $2,350-$3,760 depending on system)

Schedule:

Hybrid schedule

2-3 Days a week on site with the option to perform online customer service hours remotely
